with perplexity

distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

dictionary describes "Distress" and "Perplexity"
as:
Distress:
1. To distrain; to force or compel to satisfy an obligation by means of a distress.
2. Pain or suffering affecting the mind: TROUBLE, a painful situation
3. A state of danger or desperate need; e.g.. a ship in distress and about to go
down.
Distress synonyms: SUFFERING, MISERY, AGONY, the state of being in great trouble. DISTRESS implies an external cause of great physical or mental strain and stress.
Perplexity:
1. The state of being perplexed
2. The quality or state of being bewildered; a bewildering tangle or confusion
3. ENTANGLEMENT; something that entangles , confuses, or ensnares, the condition of being deeply involved, to wrap or twist together

Never
in the history of the world have we been as close to the brink of
utter chaos as we are right now. The news is filled with
reports of major trouble world wide. The nations are at
each others throats over land and border disputes.
Religious factions are ripping nations apart as millions
are being slaughtered in the name of, and naive belief in, occult
gods, phony prophets, and false messiahs.
Greed has
stolen billions of dollars in aid sent to the people of
starving nations, while the governments of those same
nations deny there is even a problem. North Korea is ready to nuke South Korea and China
is backing them. Arab nations are increasingly harassing
Israel which may soon lead to all out nuclear war in the
middle east.
Backwards and uncivilized nations
(with a populace holding an average IQ of less than 60)
are rushing to build nuclear weapons even though they
can't control war lords within their own borders. Ungodly and heathen
nations are swaying the opinions of world leaders to
accept their occult religions and depraved cultures as
normal all in the name of religious and cultural (blind)
tolerance.

Iran refuses to stop nuclear work

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has given no ground in
negotiations. Iran said it had done all it could to reach a peaceful settlement but the US had "hijacked" the diplomatic process.
In a harsh statement, Iran said the US was "susceptible to harm and pain. So if that is the path that the US wishes to choose, let the ball roll."

The US said Iran had enough nuclear material for 10 atomic bombs and it was time for the Security Council to act.
The United States is pushing the UN to warn Iran it could "face consequences" for refusing to stop the
program.
The UN Security Council could begin talks on Iran as soon as next week.
Iran will continue its controversial nuclear research
program no matter what action the UN takes against it, one of its top officials has said.
It said the UN nuclear watchdog could not confirm Iran was not seeking nuclear weapons.
Western powers believe Iran wants to develop nuclear arms, a claim it denies.
Iran remains defiant, with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad saying the country would not "submit to
bullying" and "The world must know that if anyone tries to violate the Iranian nation's rights, the Iranian nation will leave the blot of shame of regret on their forehead."

Japan raids companies over
bio weapons fear
Police in Japan have raided two firms on suspicion of illegally selling equipment to North Korea that could be used to make biological weapons.

The Tokyo companies are suspected of exporting freeze dryers which could cultivate germs used in such
weapons. The two unnamed companies were reported to have sent their exports to North Korea via Taiwan.
On Monday another company was raided on suspicion of exporting equipment that could be used to make nuclear weapons. The two companies targeted in Friday's raids allegedly shipped the dryers to North Korea in September 2002.
UN envoy warns Ivorian government
A senior United Nations official has begun a visit to the Ivory Coast by speaking out about what he sees as the worsening humanitarian crisis there.
Jan Egeland warned the authorities against attacks on civilians and NGOs, and said that the UN was watching.
There is a worsening humanitarian situation in Ivory Coast, which is divided by civil war.
The recent violent demonstrations caused millions of dollars of damage to UN buildings and chased the UN humanitarian agencies out of the west of the country.
Norway Courts take on Rwanda genocide case
Norway has agreed to become the first country outside Africa to try a Rwandan genocide suspect.
The terribly backlogged United Nations court system has agreed to try those responsible for the 1994 killings in which an estimated 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were slaughtered during a genocide attempt.
The tribunal's chief prosecutor said that three other European countries had also agreed to hear some cases.

Colombia bombs nature

Colombia has launched bombing raids on a nature reserve where a coca eradication
program has come under repeated attack by left-wing rebels. The air force said it had bombed several rebel bases inside La Macarena. On Wednesday, suspected Farc rebels killed six police officers involved in an operation to destroy illegal coca leaf plantations in the area. The government says rebels conceal drug production inside nature reserves where they are safe from aerial fumigation.

laborers involved in a coca eradication project in the park.
Left-wing Farc rebels have attacked the area on a number of occasions, killing dozens of police officers and soldiers.

Mass graves unearthed in Colombia
Mass graves have been found in Colombia, containing the bodies of 21 people thought to have been killed by a paramilitary unit, the authorities say. The remains were discovered in the banana-growing region of Cienaga, on the country's Caribbean coast. "Many of the victims had been shot dead, and some of the bodies were mutilated," the attorney general's office said. The authorities said they could not rule out the possibility of finding more mass graves in the area.
