Author's Note: It should be reiterated that the Palestinians have been both encouraging children to seek heroic death, as well as encouraging parents to express joy at having their children die in battle in Shahada [Death for Allah].
On PA TV last week a child writes to his parents: "Mother don't cry over me, be joyous over my blood."
The two clips "compliment" each other - one is from the child's perspective - expressing the willingness to die;
the other is from the parent's perspective - the joy over her child's death as a Shahid. The two are indicative of the continued glorification of death as Shahids inherent to PA social ideology. The
lack of natural love that these parents show for their
children reeks of demonic influence.

Hamas has long courted Palestinian
school children in order to groom them for future
leadership positions within the organization.
|
|
|

But these
Hamas recruitment drives aren't just limited to the
secondary school level. Even preschoolers are drawn into
the group's culture of death.

For example, another popular Hamas
website, www.al-fateh.net, features snapshots of
Palestinian pre-teens and toddlers dressed in Hamas
military regalia and holding automatic weapons.
Along with bedtime stories, games, riddles and
coloring activities, the site showcases a Hamas
"Featured Martyr." The most recent honoree
is Mahmoud Salem, the 18-year-old responsible for a
suicide bombing at the Israeli port of Ashdod in
March that killed 10 people.
Salem's picture is accompanied by the text of his
suicide note, which implores Palestinians "to
continue their path to jihad and martyrdom."
A number of graphic poems also appear on the site,
with one of them encouraging young readers to,
"raise the flag of jihad...and take out all the
Jews from the land of Palestine." Another,
simply titled, "Palestine," includes the
phrase, "I walked towards my destiny as a
martyr covered in blood."

This online children's web site contains stories,
poems, and illustrations to make it child “friendly”
while encouraging hatred and suicide bombing and
other forms of terrorism. That's not exactly an Olive
Branch of Peace the kid is holding. |
The manipulation of innocents is nothing new for Hamas and its ilk. Each summer, Hamas, along with fellow terrorist groups Islamic Jihad and the Al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigade, operates camps that indoctrinate scores of Palestinian children in the ways of jihad and Jew-hatred. The campers, some of whom are as young as 8 and 9 years old, are taught military tactics as well as the finer points of suicide attacks.
The PA also militarizes Palestinian children through government-run television programming. In one fictitious music video that has run continually over the past few years on PA TV, a young Palestinian boy is shown heading to "shahada," or martyrdom. Scenes of his death are accompanied by selections from his suicide letter, such as, "How sweet is shahada...be joyous over my blood, and do not cry for me."
Other PA music videos show children defacing Jewish symbols, such as the Menorah, and throwing stones at Israeli soldiers while chanting, "You will not be saved, oh Zionist."
This widespread indoctrination of young Muslims calls to mind an Arabic saying, Al-ilm fi al-sghirar kanaqshi fi al-hajar. Translated into English, it means, "An education in one's youth is like engraving into a stone."

The terrorists appear to increasingly focus their attention on children because they are easily impressionable, satisfied by small amounts of money, and are less likely to be scrutinized by Israeli soldiers looking for bombs and weapons at checkpoints. These children are assigned to perpetrate attacks, attend violent demonstrations and confrontations against IDF soldiers, smuggle bombs and weapons, and stand guard during terrorist operations and meetings.
Sometimes children are not even aware of the fact they are involved in terrorist activities, and are unknowingly sent to transport bombs and other weapons, as in the case of the 12-year old Palestinian boy
who was unwittingly given a bomb to smuggle across a roadblock on March 22.
The pressure on these children is compounded by their society where suicide bombers are venerated as martyrs and heroes. In schools, mosques, in summer camps, on
children's television programs and in music video, the martyr is upheld as the highest accomplishment in Palestinian society. Palestinian children are taught that there is nothing more honorable than dying in the fight against
Israel and the west.

Who do you think the terrorists depend on to put them in power
on a world wide scale? Well of course, primarily,
those among them that they can easily
brainwash such as children and gullible women. But
the very real threat to us in the West is caused by those among us who sit quietly and do
nothing to stop them. Consider the imbeciles that
instead of attacking those that promote terrorism,
are illogically protesting against Israel for defending
her own borders and citizens. This is not a
Virtual Reality game, not a prime time TV program,
you can't just change channels... it's reality, and it is about to catch up to us all.

Sowing the seeds of hate: The Hamas satellite station Al-Aqsa recently used a Mickey Mouse clone to teach Muslim children — in Gaza and Europe — to hate Jews.

“Sanabel, what do you want to do to help the Al-Aqsa Mosque?” Farfur asks on the children’s program of Hamas’s Al-Aqsa television station. “We want to fight.” “And what else?” “Wipe out the Jews.” Now Farfur, the cartoon character on Hamas’s children’s television program, is satisfied. Farfur is a carbon copy of Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse, but the Hamas version does something that Mickey would never do: He entertains children while propagating the murder of Jews.
International protests forced Hamas to take its Disney clone out of circulation. Al-Aqsa complied, but promptly turned Farfur’s departure into an anti-Semitic statement: Farfur was clubbed to death by an Israeli official. Then the girl hosting the program turned to the camera and said: “You’ve seen how the Jews killed Farfur as a martyr. What do you want to say to the Jews?” A three-year-old girl named Shaima called into the show to say: “We don’t like Jews, because they are dogs! We will fight them!” “Oh, Shaima, you’re right,” the girl in the studio replied, “the Jews are criminals and our enemies.”
Farfur’s appearances are typical of Hamas’s anti-Semitic propaganda, which the organization also exports to Germany via satellite, hoping to breed new generations of fanatical anti-Semites and suicide bombers.
The Hamas station, founded in 2006, is modeled on the Hezbollah station in neighboring Lebanon, al-Manar. Al-Manar’s children’s program shows children wearing explosive belts and images of dying Israeli soldiers, with triumphant chants as background music. Cartoons depict scenes like that of a child blowing himself up near Israeli soldiers, or of a smiling boy flying toward Israel on a missile. Adult viewers can enjoy video clips that use inspirational graphics and rousing music to glorify the act of committing a suicide bombing, while the evening lineup offers family entertainment with a series of films based on the classic anti-Semitic forgery “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”
In late 2004, France banned the broadcasting of al-Manar through the European Eutelsat satellite system, citing the station’s anti-Semitic content. Nevertheless, messages of hate were still being broadcast into the living rooms of Muslims in Germany via satellites controlled by Saudi Arabia and Egypt, ArabSat and NileSat. Exposure to this programming was apparently not without consequences.
